What is the atmosphere like at the pool?
The atmosphere at the pool varies throughout the year, though the music featured is always the latest hits. Quieter in the cooler months, the pool heats up in late spring with weekend parties that keep things lively through the summer. A full schedule of pool events can be found here.
Do I need to book a room to enjoy the pool?
In spring and summer, OH Pool Bar + Cabanas welcomes non-hotel-registered guests for dining and cabana rentals Sunday through Friday. However, the area is fully reserved on Saturdays and holiday weekends for registered hotel guests only, and on other dates at the hotel’s discretion. This is done in order to allow overnight guests the opportunity to experience the pool area and to limit potential overcrowding.
What are the pool hours?
The pool is open daily from 5:00 a.m. to midnight. Beverage service is available 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily, and food is served 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.
Can I bring food or drinks with me?
No, outside food and drinks are not allowed at the pool.
Is there a fee for using the lounges?
No, there is no charge for the chaise lounges or large, round lounges at the pool. Only the cabanas have a fee.
Is this the original pool?
No; the original pool was built in 1956, the year the hotel originally opened. During the 2004 restoration, it was determined that a new pool was needed. It remains in its original location at the center of the property.
